The WWII in Solomon Islands in 1942 was not Solomon Islands business. It was brought to Solomon Islands and fought between the Japanese and the Allies.
Fijians who fought with the Allies lost their lives and so were Solomon Islanders who lost their lives in a War that was none of their business in the first place.
For fugitive Mara to use such an argument against the PM of Solomon Islands because he supports the present Government of Fiji is a cheap ploy. The fugitive soldier needs to come up with better arguments to ward off the stand taken by the Prime Minister of a sovereign state, Solomon Islands.
PM Danny Philip, 'Don't buy such cheap ploy'
Ratu Mara v Danny Philip
